Insurance Information

It is mandatory for you to purchase travel medical insurance, including emergency medical evacuation, before attending our trips. Trip cancellation protection that covers the full amount of the trip cost is required, and Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR) coverage is recommended. For American Travelers:

Note: A “cancel for any reason” (CFAR) insurance coverage is strongly recommended. Depending on the insurance provider, CFAR coverage must be purchased within 7 – 21 days of booking your tour. Please check with your travel insurance provider for specific guidance on what policy may be best for you.

Cuban health insurance is mandatory for travel to Cuba and is generally bundled into the price of your airline ticket. The insurance policy does not cover any pre-existing conditions. If you have a pre-existing condition or would like increased health benefits coverage, we recommend purchasing supplemental travel medical insurance. Please ensure that the provider you choose covers travel to Cuba.
