ACCOMMODATION For our Thai culinary tour, we have selected boutique hotels that blend the best of Thai style and hospitality to create a peaceful respite from your busy days. All of our accommodations offer en suite bathrooms and air conditioning in comfortable, stylish rooms.
Days 1-5: In Bangkok we stay in a beautiful boutique hotel, located in a private and tranquil lane in the heart of Central Bangkok. The Main house, built in 1942, was turned into a hotel in 2008, using old re-cycled teak floors, antique and reproduction furniture, and Thai silk drapes. An intimate property with just 25 rooms, the hotel features a delicious vegetarian and seafood restaurant, a spa, exercise room and swimming pool, a relaxing library and a meditation hall. All rooms offer an in-room safe, hair dryer, flat-screen TV, and complimentary wireless Internet access.
Days 5-9: In Chiang Mai we stay at a small boutique hotel whose architectural style is inspired by traditional wooden homes found in Chiang Mai. Our hotel is located in a heritage zone that is home to the city’s greatest concentration of antique wooden buildings, yet is within walking distance of the commercial center of Chiang Mai and the famous Night Bazaar. With just 30 rooms, the hotel offers a restaurant, lounge, swimming pool, spa and fitness room. All rooms have an in-room safe, hair dryer and flat-screen TV.
Days 9-11: We'll spend the last two nights of our Thai culinary tour at a delightful resort overlooking the MaeKok River. An exquisitely relaxing place to wind down at the end of our tour, the resort features a swimming pool, spa, herb and fruit gardens, as well as a restaurant and bar. There are 36 rooms each with TV, air-conditioning and a balcony, and many with gardens as well, allowing you to enjoy both panoramic views of the river and valley, and the resort gardens.
Note: All accommodations are subject to availability and may be changed as needed. | |
