OVERVIEW
The world-class waves of Western France and Northern Spain are just waiting to be explored by new and seasoned surfers alike. On our week-long tour of the Basque coastline, you will experience quality, consistent swells, world-class instruction, breathtaking beaches and remarkable culture.
We begin the journey in the beautiful town of Biarritz, exploring some of the famous local swells, including the Cote d´Argent - recently named France's 'Best Mainland Beach.' After several days of quality surfing, unparalleled French wines and cuisine, and central accommodation, we will travel to the world-renowned beaches of Northern Spain. Here we continue to discover the diverse landscapes and excellent surf, while taking in the historic cities of Bilbao and San Sebastian.
By the end of this seven-day adventure, you will have developed your technique and style, pushed your surfing to new levels whether this is the first or hundredth of your surf trips, and experienced the very best of the gorgeous Basque shoreline.

ITINERARY
DAY 1: Arrive & Relax
Pick-up from Biarritz airport. Stay in central & modern hotel.
DAY 2: Surfing In France begins
Long point break off of St. Jean de Luz. Or easy beach break. Enjoy vibrant city of Biarritz. Stay in central & modern hotel.
DAY 3: More Surfing In France
Famous swells at Les Cavaliers. Seafood lunch by the beach. Afternoon waves at Les Sables d’Or. Sample the local wines and cuisine. Stay in central & modern hotel.
DAY 4: Finish Surfing In France & Drive Into Spain
Smooth breaks of Les Dunes or La Barre. BBQ on the beach, 1 hour drive to Spain. Authentic guest house, unforgettable views of the Atlantic and the Pyrenees. Short drive from bustling city of San Sebastian.
DAY 5: Surf In Spain & Sightsee Bilboa
Beginners waves at Zarautz. Experienced surfers enjoy the infamous Mudaka break. Either dive back into the water or visit world-famous Guggenheim museum and gothic cathedrals located in nearby Bilbao. Traditional Spanish supper in Bilbao. Stay in authentic guest house.
DAY 6: More Surfing In Spain
We will find the best breaks along the Spanish coast to continue surfing. Evening in San Sebastian. Stay in authentic guest house.
DAY 7: Surf & Depart
Early morning surf. Drop-off at Biarritz airport.
