ACCOMMODATION

We start our Bali & Java surfing tour with five nights in a stylish hotel located directly opposite the best section of Kuta's long, smooth beach break. Set in lush, tropical gardens, the spacious, contemporary rooms look out onto a large, free-form swimming pool and have all the ammenities you'd expect of a high-quality hotel while still retaining a surfer vibe (there are surf racks outside each room!). Though peaceful and secluded, the hotel is in walking distance of a wide variety of restaurants, cafes, bars and shops.

The next three nights of our Bali & Java surfing tour will be spent at a camp in the heart of a national park. Here we'll stay in deluxe bungalows surrounded by jungle and just footsteps from one of the world's best left-hand breaks. Made of local wood, the bungalows provide all the ammenities you need for a comfortable stay (AC, TVs, minibars) while still blending in with the natural environment. There are volleyball nets, hammocks, a bar and restaurant and miles of untouched, white-sand, jungle-clad beaches.

Our final night will be spent at the stylish hotel where we began our tour.
