ITINERARY DAY 1: Welcome to Indonesia - surf travel paradise! We`ll pick you up at Denpasar airport and take you to our stylish hotel located directly in front on the best section of Kuta's long beach break. You`ll have time to check out the local shops, markets & cafes or wander down to the spectacular white sand beach (maybe even catch a sunset surf) before we meet for a welcome dinner out at a local restaurant.
DAY 2: Time to hit the breaks! We’ll walk just a few steps to the local break, a long, easy beach break, for a morning warm-up session to assess your individual strengths and establish goals for the trip. Afterwards you’ll be free to grab lunch, shop or relax by the pool before heading out for another surf session with our expert instructors, followed by video coaching. Tonight, we’ll meet for dinner in one of Kuta or Seminyak’s many delicious restaurants.
DAY 3: Today we’ll take a short drive to the Bukit peninsula, home to several of Bali’s most renowned breaks including Dreamland, the Impossibles, and Padang Padang. We’ll check out several of the breaks and spend time relaxing on the Bukit Peninsula's spectacular white-sand, undeveloped beaches. We’ll watch the sunset at one of Bali’s most famous temples – built atop a sheer cliff and home to scores of monkeys, before enjoying a dinner of fresh fish on the beach.
DAY 4: We’ll head back to the Bukit peninsula to check out more of its quality breaks or we may take a short drive north to check out the barreling rights and deserted breaks of Canggu.
DAY 5: We will continue in Bali on the Bukit peninsula, exploring more quality surf breaks. Tonight will be the last night to check out the shops, markets, restaurants and bars before we head towards the small villages and jungles of East Java.
DAY 6: Today is a travel day as we take a fast boat over to G-land, a camp set in the heart of a national park and surrounded by lush jungle and some of the world's best surf beaches. Here we'll stay in deluxe bungalows. Arriving mid-morning, we'll have time for our first surf session in Java. Those who are up for surfing G-land, arguably one of the best left handers in the world, can do so with the guidance of our expert instructors. For those who prefer to surf smaller lefts, or a high quality right, there are various world-class breaks within easy access of our camp, including some 'secret' spots that we may well have to ourselves. After a delicious home-cooked lunch there'll be time to explore the jungle or relax on the beach before enjoying another surf session with your instructor. Tonight there'll be time for video coaching, a hearty dinner, beers on the beach and just generally enjoying the beauty of the jungle-setting. DAY 7 & 8: We'll spend our days surfing G-land and other local breaks. In between surf sessions there`ll be time for snorkeling, swimming and relaxing. We can also arrange fishing tours and jungle tours with local rangers for those who are interested. In the evenings there`ll be video coaching, delicious home-cooked meals, beers on the beach and plenty of relaxing.
DAY 9: Time to head back to `civilization`. We’ll have a final morning surf, and then we’ll load up the van to head back to Kuta for our final night in Bali. Tonight is our farewell dinner - our last chance to take advantage of Bali's delicious seafood.
DAY 10: The final day of our surf travel adventure. We’ll have another surf session in the morning before heading to the airport in time for you to catch late afternoon or evening flights. If your flight leaves in the morning an early airport shuttle can also be arranged. | |
