FOOD

Part of the pleasure of our Bali surfing safari is the delicious food that’s available at the end of each day. Indonesia is renowned for fresh, healthy Asian cuisine, including a lot of rice, fish, and fruit. Two of the most popular dishes: Nasi Goreng (fried rice with chicken and veggies), and Gado-Gado (fresh, mixed veggies with peanut sauce) are often found in the West, but there are many other delicious dishes that you’ll experience for the first time in Indonesia.

During the first five days of our Bali surfing tour, we will stay in walking distance of downtown Kuta – a bustling area of cafes, street markets, restaurants and bars. Here, you can eat a wide range of foods including Indonesian, Indian, Thai, Chinese, seafood and Italian without spending more than about US $7. We will spend one evening enjoying barbecued fish on the beach - a Bali culinary experience not to be missed. During our three nights in a remote national park, our meals will be fully catered by the camp cooking crew. Meals are varied but may include Indonesian, Thai, Mexican & Italian cusine. For the final night of our Bali surfing tour we`ll head to a unique floating restaurant for a delicious seafood dinner.
