OVERVIEW

This trip is open to snowboarders too! Click here for snowboard information.

Our 2008 sessions are over, and we are working on our 2009 dates. If you would like to be informed when the dates are finalized, please email us.

Indulge your powder cravings while experiencing one of the world’s most fascinating landscapes and cultures. Japan’s resorts generally receive the most snowfall of any in the world, (the Oku-Tadamii ski area is frequently pounded with over 18 metres of snow!) yet so few foreigners experience this powder Mecca.

Starting in the high-tech world of Tokyo, we’ll head to Nagano, Hakuba and the Island of Hokkaido to experience some of the best skiing in the world. Accompanied by expert instructors and local guides you’ll experience amazing tree runs, magical backcountry tours, endless trails and an unforgettable ride in a dormant crater (if weather permits). You’ll also visit several outdoor onsen (hotsprings), experience Japan’s famous snowmonkeys, visit a renown Buddhist temple, stay in quality accommodation, and eat delicious Japanese cuisine.

INSTRUCTION

We are dedicated to offering the highest quality ski instruction on the market. We know there are a multitude of other ski schools and instruction programs that you could choose from, but we believe that ours is unique thanks to the individual attention we give our clients and to the quality and nature of our coaches and guides. It`s also unique because rather than being confined to just one mountain resort, as most ski schools are, our Ski Japan coaching program takes place at a variety of different resorts in Japan. Presently, we do not offer telemark instruction.

TESTIMONIALS
Michael (Belgium), 2x returning guest: The trip was brilliant, awesome, inspirational, reviving, fun. It was absolutely the best skiing trip I`ve ever done. When I signed up I was thinking `even if half of what they claim is true, it`ll be amazing`. I was a bit scared of expecting too much and getting disappointed, but in reality it was better than anything I had hoped for. I even caught myself dreaming I was practicing a 180 and a 360.
