OVERVIEW: COSTA RICA SURFING HOLIDAYS
In addtion to our Costa Rica Surfing Holidays, we offer two other Costa Rica learning adventures: mountain biking, and biking & whitewater kayaking.
Costa Rica is a magical country of stunning beaches, pristine rainforest, friendly people, and some of the best surfing in the world. With warm water and perfect waves, this is the ideal place to learn to surf or to advance to the next level of surfing.
Our Costa Rica surfing holidays explore the best beaches for beginners and intermediates, with excursions to fabulous 'secret' spots where we may even have the waves to ourselves. Take a break from surfing to discover the lushness of Costa Rican as we hike trails deep in the jungle and 'fly' through the rainforest canopy on zip lines. Evenings will be spent in stylish beach hotels as we enjoy the local seafood and relax after a full day of adventure.
INSTRUCTION: COSTA RICA SURFING HOLIDAYS
Our Costa Rica surfing holidays focus on beginner and early intermediates. Beginners in surfing will be taught everything they need to know to not only catch their first waves, but to ensure they have the confidence and knowledge to continue surfing after the tour is over.
Intermediate surfers will be taught to better control their boards, to surf more confidently and aggressively and to take full advantage of the wave face.
All surfers will receive workshops on such topics as wave patterns, currents & tides, potentially dangerous situations, and surf report reading. Video coaching is available during your stay.

ITINERARY: SURF COSTA RICA
DAY 1: Arrive & Relax
Pick up from either Samara/Carrillo Airport or Liberia Airport. Check into stylish beachfront hotel in Samara. Relax by the pool and enjoy a welcome dinner.
DAY 2: Costa Rica Surfing Holiday Begins
Morning and early afternoon surfing lessons. Stay at ocean view accommodation.
DAY 3: Boat Trip to 'Secret' Spot
Morning boat trip to an undiscovered surf spot. Morning and early afternoon surfing lessons. Stay at ocean view accommodation.
DAY 4: Drive to Playa Guiones
Morning drive to Playa Guiones. Rainforest canopy tour and optional afternoon surf lesson if conditions allow. Dinner overlooking the ocean. Stay in 4-star resort.
DAY 5: Surfing & Jungle Hike
Morning surfing session at Playa Guiones. Early afternoon rainforest hike. Stay in 4-star resort.
DAY 6: Surf 'Secret' Spot
Surf at a 'secret' spot deep. Stay in 4-star resort.
DAY 7: Last Day of Surfing
Morning surfing session. After lunch, relax and enjoy the last day at the resort or at the beach. Farewell dinner.
DAY 8: Our Costa Rica Surfing Holiday Ends
After breakfast we'll head to the airport for flights home.
