ACCOMMODATION

We'll start our Costa Rica adventure with three nights at a colonial-style mountain retreat. The rooms at our hotel have stunning views of Arenal Volcano, which has had active lava flows for 30 years. Each room features king or queen beds, air conditioning, private bathroom, cable TV, refrigerator, telephone, security box, hair dryer, and a private terrace amidst the lush gardens looking out a the volcano. The hotel features a swimming pool and it's own private vegetable garden!

The next two nights of our Costa Rica Rainforest Adventure will be spent at an eco-lodge along the Sarapiquí River. This jungle lodge, a haven for nature lovers, is located on a private reserve that protects over 500 acres of primary and secondary rainforest. The lodge offers private trails, a beautiful swimming pool, and a restaurant and bar. The river-view rooms rise above the rainforest floor on elevated platforms affording you a unique view of the surrounding flora and fauna. Wrap around balconies surround the rooms offering ample seating and hammocks for enjoyment of your surroundings. Each fan-cooled room features double or queen beds, screened windows, private bathroom, hair dryer and a safe.

Our last night will be spent in San Jose at a comfortable hotel with a pool not far from the airport. Rooms are air-conditioned and have cable TV, private bathroom, hair dryer and a safe.
