TERRAIN - SUNSHINE, LAKE LOUISE, KICKING HORSE, & NORQUAY RESORTS

During our British Columbia snowboard tour, we`ll be riding the slopes of Sunshine Village Resort, Lake Louise, Kicking Horse Ski Resort & Norquay.

As one of North America`s oldest resorts, Red Mountain sits at 6800 feet (2075 meters) and covers 1200 acres. Amazingly dry powder and a low-key atmosphere lend an awesome feel to this resort. It has great options for backcountry riding, plenty of steeps and intermediate terrain with trees, as well as a board park and half pipe.

Kicking Horse Ski Resort, at an elevation of 8033 feet (2450 meters), was recently ranked the #1 North American ski resort for powder and #2 for steeps. Kicking Horse has awesome backcountry with lots of challenging and varied terrain - it also has some of the driest and deepest powder in Canada.
