BREAKS - BEST OF SURFING IN BRAZIL Our base is within easy reach of a wide variety of breaks and some of the best surfing in Brazil. On any given day we’ll review the conditions and choose whichever break offers the best conditions on that day, so you’ll have the opportunity to explore many of the beaches that make this region so perfect for surfing and that make surfing in Brazil so memorable. North of our base are untouched beaches that stretch for countless miles; to the south are smaller beaches with a variety of different aspects, widths and bottom types. The deserted northern beaches, their only inhabitants being millions of coconut palms, offer large, slow breaking waves formed by offshore sand banks. They are ideal for beginners and experts alike. To the South the land becomes hilly, resulting in smaller beaches framed by rocky headlands. These result in some excellent point breaks that, due to the lack of car access, are rarely crowded. These beaches offer a variety of conditions, from perfect tube waves, to fast and strong beach breaks. There is something for every ability and the varying aspects of these beaches means there is nearly always good surf, regardless of the conditions. | |
