What better place to practice and improve your mountain biking than to bike Nepal, among the world’s most spectacular mountains? Surrounded by snow-capped 20,000+ foot Himalayan peaks, our Nepal mountain biking trip winds through ancient hillside hamlets, terraced farmland, rice paddies and fast-flowing rivers. We'll stop to chat with monks at small Buddhist temples and for a cup of tea with the friendly locals whose traditional lifestyle has remained unchanged for generations. Mountain biking in Nepal gives us the versatility to explore the diversity of cultures nestled in small, untouched, traditional villages high in the Himalayas and far off the tourist trails.
Since Access Trips specializes in exotic learning adventures, our Nepal bike trip is geared toward advanced beginner and intermediate mountain bikers who want to improve their skills. You’ll learn and practice technical skills while riding with our experienced coaches on a mix of off-road and paved trails. Although this is not a high altitude trip, you must be very physically fit to bike Nepal, with good stamina and endurance to ride 20-35 miles (30-55km) per day. But you can hop in our 4WD support van if you need a break!
Although you are biking through very remote areas of Nepal, we have scouted the best accommodations available. A few nights will be spent in basic but cozy guesthouses, often with incredible views, and most nights you will be sleeping in top-rated boutique hotels.

OUR NEPAL BIKE INSTRUCTION PROGRAM Biking through a breathtaking and culturally rich country like Nepal is enjoyable in itself, but you'll find the experience that much more satisfying as you challenge yourself and improve your biking performance during your travels. Our Nepal mountain biking tours are especially suited to those who have some experience mountain biking, including advanced beginners, intermediates and advanced bikers.
There is so much to learn in order to become a great mountain biker, so one of our goals for long-term improvement is to give you all the knowledge and advice that you need to be able to continue to learn even after you`ve left us. The flexible and relaxed atmosphere we create is more one of riding with friends than partaking in a lesson. We work hard to select the best possible guides who are advanced bikers with extensive biking experience. Perhaps even more importantly, our guides are fun, open and easy-going people who love to lead bike tours.

This is a low-altitude bike trip that takes you through the splendor of Himalayan scenery and traditional mountain villages. It is suitable for intermediate and advanced mountain bikers, as well as advanced-beginner mountain bikers who are experienced road bikers. There is little flat terrain in Nepal, so all guests should be physically fit. We have vehicle support on all but one ride, so if you get tired you can always jump in the van and take a break.
