WHAT'S NEW: Cheap Airfares & Snow DownUnder

We've just heard some exciting news that TACA, Central America's biggest airline, is slashing its airfares to Central America by 20-65%. If you're interested in our El Salvador Surf & Jungle Tour or our Surf, Bike & Wakeboard Trip there has never been a better time to book!

We also wanted to let you know that New Zealand was recently hit by a huge snowstorm that's given all the resorts a great snow base to start the season. If you're looking to enjoy some powder Downunder we still have spots available on our New Zealand Ski & Snowboard Roadtrip.

HOT TRIP: Surf, Bike & Wakeboard in El Salvador

Our new El Salvador multisport trip is perfect for those who want to try their hand at several different sports while also exploring the very best of El Salvador's beaches, forests and volcanoes. This tour takes our guests well off the beaten track to traditional villages and jungle trails that few tourists ever access. It also takes in long, white-sand beaches, a lush tropical lagoon, and memorable accommodation. Roy, our trip leader, is an experienced surf, mountain bike and wakeboard instructor so no prior experience in these sports is necessary.

COLD TRIP: Chile Trekking, Kayaking & Culinary Tour

Our new Patagonia multisport trip takes full advantage of the natural splendor of southern Chile. Starting in Punta Arenas, we'll spend five days hiking past pampas, lakes, rivers, glaciers & ancient beech forests as we wind our way towards one of the true icons of Patagonia - the spire-like rock formations of the 'Torres del Paine'. We then jump in sea kayaks for three magical days in a region that few people ever access - passing 90ft glaciers, floating amongst icebergs, and ending up in the spectacular scenery of Last Hope Sound. To top it off, each evening we'll enjoy some of Chile's most famous dishes accompanied by a selection of the country's best wines.

KNOWLEDGE: Solar-powered Charger

We just came across this little device that we thought some of you might find handy. Solio is a solar-powered charger that enables you to charge your phone, iPod or other electronic device no matter where in the world you are. This seems like a great solution for those times when your iPod goes flat when you're snowboarding or your phone goes dead when you're camping. And best of all, it's environmentally friendly!

FOOTPRINT: D.Light Design

Luckily for us we have many friends who are doing a lot of great things for the world. We're happy to tell you about another of our friends, Sam Goldman, who's developed a company that brings safe, affordable lighting to the 2 billion people who have no access to electricity. Sam's company, D.light Designs, has created an affordable light and power source that will enable users to give up using kerosene lamps ( which are bad for health and the environment) while also saving money.
