HOT TRIP: Costa Rica - Sky-to-Sea Mountain Bike

Costa Rica is one of the most spectacular countries on earth and we have a mountain bike trip that takes in the very best of its diverse ecosystems. Starting in the highlands, our bike journey visits two active volcanoes, world-renown Monterverde Cloud Forest, a remote mountain lake, and several pristine, tropical beaches. Using off-road trails, this journey takes our guests off-the-beaten path to see 'real' Costa Rica at its best. Beginners are welcome.

COLD TRIP: Snowboarding & Skiing in Switzerland

Based in what is arguably the most spectacular region in the European Alps, our Swiss snowboard & ski tour visits five of Switzerland's best ski resorts and includes such extra activities as nighttime sledding down Europe's longest tobbogan trail, eating fondue in a remote mountain hut, and soaking under the stars in a lakeside hotspring. Our expert instructors will help you develop your riding while also guiding you on the best 'local's only' runs.

Among the people featured is Access Trips co-founder Alain Chuard!

ON ASSIGNMENT: Cyrus in the Jungles of Java

Our Access Trips team is made up of many impressive athletes and Cyrus, our Bali/Java surf leader, is no exception. Having grown up in both Hawaii and Indonesia, Cyrus has been surfing since he was a young child alongside such surf greats as Jerry Lopez. Cyrus' father was the first person to surf G-land. Just back from leading our Bali-Java surf roadtrip, Cyrus reports that the wave conditions are excellent and, thanks to his knowledge of rarely-surfed breaks, the crowd levels are low.

They do this by encouraging top architects to donate their time & skills to low-income housing projects. A new book "Design Like You Give A Damn" profiles the very best of these innovative design projects.
